About Me
Who am I?
My name is Jonathon March. I am 22 years old hailing from Adelaide Australia. Photography is something I had been wanting to get into for quite a long time, but for much of that time I couldn't justify spending over $1000 on a DSLR camera. It wasn't until I had finished university studying Mechanical Engineering that I treated myself and purchased my first camera; a Canon 750D with the twin lens kit. Here is a photo that was taken on my first ever night out with the camera!
The technical side of engineering and the art side of photography is something that I don't think you see very often in an individual. It was this reason that drove me to do photography in the first place! After spending many of my high school years aspiring to be an architect, there was always a creative side to me. Studying mechanical engineering for 4 years, as anyone who has been through such a degree themselves knows, tends to drain any creative side out of you! Particularly in the maths/physics side of things where there is generally one approach and one solution, which many times was quite frustrating!
I have only been doing my photography for 6 months now and whilst I believe I have already come a long way in my quality, I know there is so much more to learn and achieve!
If you have any questions, or maybe would like some photography done for yourself, head over to the Contact page and send through an email! Alternatively, head to my Facebook or Instagram page and you can get in contact with me there.
I will keep this site updated with my best work over time, and hope you enjoy coming along for my creative journey as I dive into new and exciting challenges!
